I'm a marketer and the founder and CEO of Industrious Marketing. I combine the best of tried and true tactics with a holistic approach to growing your business.
This means that I focus on getting to the root cause of building awareness, connecting to your customers and increasing sales rather than just marketing for marketing’s sake.
With over 18 years of experience ranging from the biggest brands in sports to multi-billion dollar real estate funds and venture capital firms, I have access to an extensive tool kit.
I’ve spent the last ten years of my career focused on marketing strategies designed to raise equity capital. My experience includes leading marketing efforts for three real estate investment trusts; helping multiple fund managers with fundraising efforts; leading marketing for two start-ups, one of which IPO’d; and managing executive thought leadership strategies.
I prescribe specific channels, implement targeted tactics, identify and manage the right creative partners, implement operational efficiencies, all while ensuring your marketing and messaging accurately reflect your brand and achieve your goals. I also leverage the power of data to help you show up where your customers are with the right message at the right time.
What’s different about my approach is I don’t just come in and tell you what to do like other consultants, I actually help you do it. The meaning of the name Emily is industrious, and my greatest superpower is getting things done well.

I’m also an omni-mom - mom, stepmom, dog mom - fueled by coffee, good books, good wine, and the support of my sweet husband. You can find me running the hills of Turpin in Anderson Township, Ohio, which keeps me in Flying-Pig-ready condition.
